First Hotel was built from 1969 to 1970, put into operation with original name First Hotel on 14 March 1977. Over 35 years of hotel development, the First Trademark has stably stood on the domestic market as a 4 star international standards with 152 bedrooms and a newly built conference center – FIRST PLACE.

On 14/03/2012, the hotel has just solemnly celebrated its 35^th anniversary 14/03/1977 - 14/03/2012. At the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Nghia Huynh - on behalf of the People’s Committee of HCM City – handed over the Traditional Flag to First Hotel due to its outstanding achievements  during the past years.
