On April 8, 2009, the First Hotel honorly received a second-class Labour Order from the State President, while its General Manager  - Mr. Huynh Van Phat - honorly received the third-class Labour Order.

"To enhance the competitiveness and economic effect, the hotel advocates improved services and service quality to satisfy the higher demands of clients, focusing on investment in renovations of facilities in each restaurant and room and purchasing modern equipment to gain a high economic return", said GM Huynh Van Phat.

According to Phat, from 2009 to 2010, the hotel will strive for a growth rate of 10% to 12%. This year, the total revenue is estimated at VND 184 billion and at VND 200 billion in 2010.

To achieve this goal, the hotel will focus on professional service quality meeting international standards with the motto "Four-star hotel serves Five-star Services".
